I don’t know if it’s weird or not, but I can pretty much look in my closet and know what brand or where almost every item in my closet came from. As I’m looking over my inventory Gap comes up quite a bit.
It could have a lot to do with me working for Gap part-time for a little over a year, but that was almost 2 years ago. Is it Gaps marketing campaigns, or is it the 10% AAA discount I get at any Gap outlet?
The huge employee discount might have had something to do with it, but Gap was there for me when I needed dependability. It was 7 months after my pregnancy and I wasn’t feeling like my usually self. Places I frequently shopped during my pregnancy were no longer applicable and the stores I shopped at before my pregnancy didn’t fit my new “alterations” lol.
Gap became my safety net, taking me from post-maternity into some what of my old self again. I not as active on the retail location scene, as I am virtual shopping, but Gap.com gets their fair share of visits from me.
4 years later; I have Gap pieces for work clothes, Gap sun dresses, jeans (which I weren’t to fond of) until I was exposed to the “skinny” jean and much much more…..
(Funny thing is, I use to be a white socks kind of girl, now I have all these funky designed, cozy socks courtesy of…….you guessed it….the GAP.
